What else will the I pod give me.
Thanks

Hi Eddie

Tiddy has hit the nail on the head. It is possible, I'm a new iPhone
user and have no sight. But I must admit I sometimes explode and want
to throw it somewhere far away. I got an iPod Touch just before my
iPhone, and I prefer it to be honest. The iPod Touch is exactly the
same but without the phone component. I often have difficulty answering
the phone when it rings, even though I'm doing the double two-finger
tap. I refuse to go back now completely, but I've always got another
Nokia handset with Talks in reserve with all my contacts on it in case
that iPhone of mine comes to a sad end!
(smile). Seriously, all I'm saying light-heartedly is that it's ok, but
difficult at the beginning, and I'm getting there, albeit slowly. Lots
of fellow list users will tell you similar stories, that you get used to
the concept, but it is a steep learning curve if you have no sight at
all.

Good luck.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

Edward, a lot of people on this list will tell you that it is indeed
possible, but it's not easy, so wait for the replies and prepare for a
steep learning curve.
Good luck.

I currently have a mobile with speech which allows me to send and
receive texts and calls. However, i would like to access the internet
via a mobile.
Is it possible for a blind person to do this? Regards Eddie
