as a more reliable way of doing this which wil work on any machine, try left
windows with r followed by the word jawsxx where xx is the version you are
running.  I think if it is below 10 then it is just one number such as 9 and
not 09

Hello Barry,

that is what I was going to advise too. In addition I'd always recommend
a desktop shortcut for Jaws, ensuring it's the only one beginning with
the letter J.
