David,

If it was me, I would record it at the same time as listening to it.  A program like goldwave or other sound editing programs allow you to do this.
Also, I have had some success in listening to programs in windows media player, and as you are listening, go into the file menu and save it as usual.  I do this with in touch quite regularly.
