Hi Laurence

Yes, RTE is geared up for Ireland, but not Northern Ireland of course.  Yet
the text reads well, so it has a reprieve for a bit.  Actually, Northern
Ireland goes off analogue in October, I think it's one of the last places in
the UK to move over to digital.

Yes, the Freesat "text" service is all graphical like the ghastly Freeview
one, but if you can tune in RTE all four channels run a standard teletext
service.

Their news output is somewhat Ireland-centred, but not exclusively so.
