[BCAB] Improving battery life on the IPhone

I disable Ping in settings, general, restrictions. This is an ITunes
related social network which has been a spectacular flop and there are
strong rumours that support for Ping is to be discontinued in the next
release of IOS.

In location services under system Services you can turn off Location Based
IAds and Setting time zone. This will have a small effect. Unless you
need it, turn off push notifications for things like Email. The Email
client can still download messages whenever you run the client and at set
intervals while the client is running.

Regards

Graham

Thanks Joe.

I read some ware that switching to a lower quality voice may help with
this, so far this does seem to have had some small improvements.

Out of interest, which services do most of you leave on? I've turned off
location services, Bluetooth, 3g. I'd like to switch back on location
services but wondered what impact that would have on the battery again.

Thanks.
Nick.
