Is there any way to close a Facebook account? I joined, but don't find it
very useful for me, so I would like to get rid of it, but can't find any way
to do this on the site.

personlly I hate Facebook as a way of following an organisation or event.
Even using the mobile version, there's the hastle of trying to unfollow
posts when they take over your news feed. Menu controls that I gather
sighted users see. Having to click on things that don't appear as standard
HTML links or buttons. Better to my mind, to have a Wordpress or similar
site and let peple sign up for email notifications or RSS.

Just my 2 penneth.

Cheers

Chris Turner.

Hi, Firstly, can I thank all the contributors to this list for all the
valuable information i have gleaned from you. I have yet another question, I
run 2 twitter accounts and find them very useful and am thinking of delving
into the world of facebook. Primarly to promote an organisation I am a
volunteer for. From a blind person's point of view how easy is face Book to
use and is it a good social media tool for organisations to use. any advice
would be appreciated. Regards susan Jones
