[BCAB] Windows8 and mouse shapes.

I've just tried this and NVDA 2012.3 announces mouse shapes on my
Windows8 Pro 64-bit machine, so I don't think it's a bug. What apps have
you tried? I notice on the Windows 8 start screen, for instance, the
mouse doesn't change shape much, if at all. I went into Mail and the
mouse shape changes as it moves from the list of messages to the content
of a single message, and this was announced by NVDA.

Subject: [BCAB] Windows8 and mouse shapes.

Hello everyone.

Please can anyone come up with any ideas? I have recently bought
Windows8 Pro 64 bit.

Please can anyone tell me if mouse shapes still exist in this operating

I am asking this because I have got the free screen reader NVDA,
Window-eyes and JAWS14 installed.

Now Window-eyes has mouse shapes turned on by default. I have checked
them in both NVDA and JAWS.

No matter which screen reader I use, mouse shapes are not being
announced at all!

I am not the only one who is having this issue. My friend Lewis Crack
can duplicate on 32 bit Windows8.
Another person called Mark Tiler can also.

But on the other hand my friend Christopher Hallsworth can't. He is on
the same as me, 64 bit.
Also before I sign off, it does not matter what Windows theme you select
in the theme list. Lewis tried switching and it had no effect.
Thanks very much, any responses really appreciated!

Speak soon!
