Sorry, Ian. I should have read the subject line anyway - which I've now changed.

However, the issue is still relevant to anyone having problems using Internet Explorer who may have encountered Chrome.

George.

No George, it turned out to be a lot simpler than that and something which I sorted out myself. In the settings for Tune-in Radio there's an option for screen lock images which appears to be on by default so I turned it off and that cured it.

Ian,

I'd be very interested to know if you either have, or had had, Google Chrome on your system?

I was talking to a tech. support friend at the weekend who is employed by a very large local authority. Their schools have been plagued with problems using Internet Explorer where Chrome has been installed. Adobe Reader updates appear to be one of the worst causes of this happening, and often without the user even noticing.

Removal of Chrome does not cure things. Indeed it requires quite a serious bit of Registry hacking.

I gather the E.C. boffins may be taking a look too, but that has not been confirmed.

George.

Earlier i visited a radio station while browsing tune-In Radio. since then I'm getting what I think are adverts for them popping up more or less randomly as my lock screen wallpaper. I've tried resetting the wallpaper from my own picture store with no success. How can I stop this please? Ironically I wasn't actually able to tune in to the station via the Tune-in app.
