[BCAB] Can I Establish Who Downloads From a Link in Dropbox?

Hi Muzz,

Talking of Dropbox, where does one control what kind of files can be stored? Mine won't allow *.exe files, which is a real pain when working with a developer.

George.

Steve is right! By default only you have access to a file uploaded on Dropbox - think of it as a hard drive online!
To share a file, just right click it & share it with one or more people you want! They'll only be able to access that one file from your account - nothing else!
You can share 1 file with as many people as you like!
You can also share , say file a with Mr. X & file b with Mrs. Y, & so X only gets file a & Y only gets to see file b! Everything else stays hidden & only you can access them!
If you want to share multiple files simultaneously , just create a folder & dump those files in this new folder! Give it a name, & share away!
At Uni , we share code with each other this way & allow each person to edit it. It's also possible to return to previous versions of a file !

To keep a track of how I've shared my files, I just collate the info from my sent mail & keep a running log as a spreadsheet !
By the way all the above also applies to g drive!
