yes that's a good deal but I can't afford an IPhone 5S or 5 up front, but I
agree that sim only is often a good option.

Or if you bought a used Iphone, then went with 3 mobile, you would pay £15
per month, giving you 2000 inclusive minutes, 5000 minutes to other 3 mobile
users, unlimited text and unlimited data, and no tie in to a provider for
two years.

Hi all.

The question I am asking really has to do with a previous question I asked
about why carphone warehouse seems to offer cheaper tarrifs than all the
main network providers.

I am trying to decide whether to move from vodafone to 3.

If I stay with voda I can get a deal for £42 with 2GB of RAM and an IPhone
16 gb phone.

If I go with carphone warehouse I get 3 gb for the same price or 1 gb for
£37.

I rang voda and asked what they could offer that carphone warehouse
couldn't. she said they couldn't legally talk about how carphone warehouse
makes money but I pressed her on what Voda offered that carphone warehouse
couldn't. She said the phone was under warrantee. she said there was a 5
starr care plan included in the price which I can't find on vodafone site.
She also said the phone would be replaced if it were damaged and, that if I
go to apple, they will refer me back to vodafone to get the phone repared.

Of all that stuff, the care plan is the only thing I can see that makes any
difference but I'd like to find a decent forum where I can discuss this a
bit more. I actually felt the woman I spoke to seemed rather panicky and
unsure of her facts so if anyone can suggest a good place where I can go to
discuss options where there are people with some knowledge about phones
that would be great.

Cheers

Graham
