Alternatively you could put it into Normal or Draft view (depending on
your version of Word) with Alt + Control + N - that has the effect of
putting it into single column mode.

You could try setting the number of columns in your Word document from 2
to 1.  This sometimes helps.  I can't recall where this setting is but
it will probably be in the paragraphs and spacing settings dialogue.

Also check that you are reading the document in normal view.

Hi All,

I have a newsletter from Guide Dogs in word set out in 2 columns.

When reading with both S Nova and JAWS it goes onto page 2 not reading
right hand column.

Apart from turning it into a pdf is there a key stroke for getting to
right hand column please.
