Hi Ruthbb!

Thank you. So, I am not the only one Seri has difficulty with (smile)

Will try your technique.

All the best,

Hi Padma,

Like Muzz, I type with my thumb and have just started using the touch typing
mode which is easy as you just slide your thumb or finger over the keyboard
and then lift it when you hear the character you want. Also, a bluetooth
keyboard is very good.

Siri doesn't always understand my accent either, must the Northern Ireland
dialect.

I get the impression that you're really struggling with the iPhone Padma.
May I suggest that you master one little bit at a time?
Firstly, I'd highly suggest that you get the VO starter kit, £0.69 on app
store?
Try mastering gestures: changing pages on your home screen, tap, flick,
double tap, rotor, etc
Then try practicing typing on the notes app: make a new blank note &
experiment. I developed my use of the screen keyboard this way. I hold my
phone near the bottom, with my left hand, & my thumb can find all the
letters within its reach.
Use your skills to send a message, do a google search & maybe an app store
search.
I can't help with the accent not controlling cirri & dictation. Being good
with the keyboard does give you control.
I'd highly suggest that you get apple's one to one (£79 a year for unlimited
training). This actually gave me plenty of ideas to make the most of my
apple experience.
