Hi,

Have you tried GuideDots? It's in beta, but it's coming along. Oh and it
uses decent maps.

All the best

Steve

Hi Steve, shame. I put the message out as a kind of warning. There doesn't
seem to be a single comprehensive android navigation app. I got my android
phone largely as a potential navigation aid as I thought the trekker...
Would become outdated. A really good Iphone nav might have tilted my
decision on phone and might for others.

Tom

Hi Tom,

Yes, Sendero are resisting Android for some reason.

All the best

HI folks,

As an android user, I contacted the rnib to see if a version was being
developed for android. They have no information about such a development.

FullyFunctionalGPSNavigation aid for iPhone

Hi Jackie and all
I can tell you after using the app to find a local pub it found it no
problem and the directions worked a treat. So all in all it's the best
£2.99 I've spent so far. Even if it does go higher I'm fine with that and
may even pay for the three month subscription. Granted I will probably use
this exclusively in the car since I prefer not to go out on my own. But when
I do it will be worthwhile.

Regards Chris
Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth!
