[BCAB] problem with a windows defender update, please can someone advise a possible solution.

Hi,

Yes.  As I said, just touch the Windows key and type the word defender and
it will come up as the first search item.  Press enter and you can turn it
off from there.

Hi Steve,

Thank you for your reply.

Having now read three different replies to this thread which suggest in
varying ways that I don't need Windows Defender, I will take your advice and
turn it off.  Do I take it that the setting I need to change is somewhere in
the security section of my computer's control Panel?
