So to be clear, the battery has two ports, one standard usb size, and one micro size?

Hi Mike, looking at the site this appears to be a completely standard usb wall charger. Incidentally, all USB plugs are "Universal", I think it's what the U stands for. If you already have an iPhone or other charger for a usb device you can simply plug the cable supplied with the battery into that and then plug the micro connector into the corresponding port on the battery. Note that when you are charging the iPhone from the battery you will need the cabled originally supplied with the apple device. You then plug the standard USB end of that into the corresponding larger port on the battery and plug the other end of the cable into the iPhone. In short, therefore, if you have an iPhone charger, you can save yourself £5.99.

Hello Ibrahim,

It appears that the RNIB offer for sale a universal USB mains charger with a code of HT262 for a price of 5.99 pounds Do you think it is possible that this could be suitable?
What questions do you think I would need to ask to be sure?

thanks you for your help.

Mike.

Hi Mike. The Anker battery packs come with a universal cable which you can use to either charge the battery pack or a Micro USB compatible device. You can use any wall plug adaptor you may have such as an iPhone wall plug adaptor or those supplied with most Android devices or you can charge the battery pack from your computer, the choice is yours. Anker do have a range of USB wall plug chargers however these aren't required to make the most of your battery pack, there is no official certified charger specifically for charging it. I hope this helps, kindly get back to me if you need further help. -----Original Message----- From: M F Mason Sent: Thursday, May 22, 2014 10:16 AM
To: BCAB Discussion List Subject: Re: [BCAB] ANCHOR BATTERY ENQUIRY Hello, I purchased from amazon.co.uk<http://amazon.co.uk><http://amazon.co.uk> the Anker® Astro E4 13000mAh Portable Power Bank Pack External Battery Charger It came with only one cable which makes it look like you would typically charge it from a USB port on your computer. Is this what I should have expected? Presumably if I wish to charge this battery pack from the mains, I would need some kind of USB plug to plug into a wall socket. What exactly would I need? Many thanks, Mike. At 12:19 13/05/2014, you wrote: >Hi Guys, If you'd have gone with this one
