[BCAB] Notetaker Opinions

Hello,
I think I could just deal with a Braille Sense U2 Mini, with an
Amazon Fire Tablet which already has a lot of my music on it.
I'm not sure how good the braille support it has.

Hi, there are, up to a certain degree, free music streaming
services out there, pandora, spotify, just to name 2 that seem to
be well known. I do have spotify, but can't remember the last
time I've used it. Then there's 3 months free apple music, tune
in radio for radio lovers. For music, I suppose, you could get a
digital book player, like the HIMS blaze products, or a humanware
victor reader.

Yes, it would be a great idea, but for music, I do not want to
buy music using Itunes. I have a huge collection of music on my
Apex and on my Sd card, so, I don't want to lose all of that
just
for getting an Ipad and a VarioUltra; that's why I would get the
Braille Sense, for music, YouTube, and notetaking functions like
that. The Ipad would be used and mweb browsing, the stuff I
can't do on the Braille Sense.

Also I'd save money and not buy a Braille Sense. The Vario
Ultra
from Baum would be cheaper. It could be used as a note taker in
meetings yet it could be paired with a smartphone. Only
disadvantage is you don't get speech while taking notes. The
keyboard on the Vario Ultra is odd but feedback seems to be that
 people get used to it.

 Cheers

 Graham

They will each deliver somewhat different experiences. I’m
slightly cautious in what I say because I’m still getting to
know the BN Touch. And I haven’t yet got to the point where
I’m trying apps such as Facebook and Twitter on it. You
wouldn’t be able to send texts from the Touch. However,
I’ve
been surprised at the accuracy of Braille I’m able to produce
on the touch screen. It will also depend a bit on how familiar
and happy you are with keysoft. Sorry this is rather
inconclusive and a bit all over the place.
