Hi Andrew,

That's excellent news, I didn't know that. Thank you.

All the best

Steve

Steve,

That is normal from Windows 8 onwards, the key is now embedded in the BIOS
and the setup program will detect this. In Windows 10 the key doesn't even
need to be in the BIOS, it can also retrieve the key from the Internet based
on the machine's ID. I don't think the ID uses anything special to
generate, I switched out the hard drive and upgraded the RAM on a machine
and it found the original key just fine, and that system started life on
Windows 7.

You won't get a new system with a Windows 10 key printed on it.

Andrew.

Also interesting is that I bet the Windows 10 key isn't anywhere printed on
it either. It certainly isn't on the Inside One and I complained about this
to the manufacturer.

All the best

Steve

Hi,

Interesting, someone else I asked this to didn't get the SD card with their
unit either.

Andrew.

Not yet Andrew,
Just received it so hope I don't have to do a recovery yet.
I feel sure there should be an sd card with a sys recovery on it, but can't
find mine.
Kind regards,
Dennis huckle.

Hi,

Anyone yet tried the recovery procedure with the ElBraille? I am really
interested in how it operates to get a fresh ElBraille image back on the
device.

Thanks.
Andrew.

have large hands? Is the 14 a little cramped for you? Naturally with your
fingers on the keys, how close to your sides are your elbows? I think if you
have to bend / angle your wrists it affects your braille efficiency. Would
you be comfortable using it on a train or bus's narrow seat? I don't know
why I am asking you as I have already purchased one. I guess I would like to
know of your initial experience.
