[BCAB] elbraille

Hi Steve

I will take your word for it as I have never used JAWS Tandem. Useful to
have Braille if, as you say, you are the helper.

Kind regards,

Hi,

One advantage of JAWS Tandem though if you're the helper, is you will get
remote Braille as well as speech.

All the best

Steve

Hi Andrew

Yes, and the version of TeamViewer that came with mine was not the version
Elita Group recommends, so I took it off and installed version 12. This is
really only useful though if someone needs to go in remotely, and I think it
is preferred over JAWS Tandem because the latter can be slower, apparently.

Kind regards,

Jackie Brown

Hi,

TeamViewer is for remote connectivity from someone with eyes to the
ElBraille. Interesting they went that route and not Jaws Tandem. It is
possible to use TeamViewer without sight but it is difficult and there are
limitations.

Andrew.

Hope it arrives soon,
If I can help further I, and I'm sure others who own one will do so also.
Elbraille also comes with an app called team viewer. I don't know how to set
it up but there might be a possibility of direct assistance via that app.
Kind regards,
Dennis huckle.

write. I wondered how many voices does jaws come with now-a-days? Do you
have large hands? Is the 14 a little cramped for you? Naturally with your
fingers on the keys, how close to your sides are your elbows? I think if you
have to bend / angle your wrists it affects your braille efficiency. Would
you be comfortable using it on a train or bus's narrow seat? I don't know
why I am asking you as I have already purchased one. I guess I would like to
know of your initial experience.
