Thanks matthew,
Looked at this, seems it will work.
If using the el braille you can put a book onto an sd card or usb stick then
play it.
I have yet to workout how to get the book to re-start from where you left
off but will find out soon.
Kind regards,
Dennis huckle.

Hi Dennis and Jackie,
I can certainly vouch for FSReader for intuitive access to DAISY under
Windows. In fact, going back a few years, it was the only DAISY reader for
the PC that made any sense to me! (At the time, the only other compelling
product on the market was Dolphin EasyReader - times may well have changed
now.) The design resembles an HTML help system, with headings in a tree view
and a web view for reading the content. You can F6 between the two areas -
not sure what the El Braille equivalent would be.
Audio shortcuts for play, pause, stop, etc are pretty straightforward -
CTRL+P and CTRL+S both work as expected.
Matthew

Hi Dennis

I don't use it personally so can't vouch for its usefulness, but what about
FSReader?

Kind regards,

I listen to a lot of dasy books on my plextalk pocket.

This like the Olympus is an excellent device. However is there any software
out there which works well with jaws and allows dasey books to be played on
a windows device?.

Kind regards,

Dennis huckle.
