I didn't think goldwave worked with macs.
The only software I found was from nch swift sounds in Australia.
I haven't used it for some time so suggest you google swift sounds and see
what you can download from there.
Kind regards,
Dennis huckle.

Hi David,

I can't help you any further as I don't know what works with Mac computers.
As I said before, I use a Windows PC, partly because I can't stand ITunes.

Best,
Clive

Hi Clive, Pele and Jim,

Many thanks for your replies.

With the system I have, I had to load in Itunes. would I have to do the same
re Goldwave?

also, do you have any suggestions re what tape system I could use to convert
files?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

With best wishes

Hi David,

What's more, it's perfectly accessible, as Chris the developer has been in
touch with some of us and has been keen to make sure it works well for us. I
don't know how well it would work on a Mac, but if you're using a Windows
PC, you should find it a breeze. That's especially true, since the help
files are pretty good, and someone has produced a user's guide especially
for BCAB. I'm not sure if this is still on the BCAB website, but if it isn't
or it's hard to find, and you're ready to give Goldwave a go, please drop me
a line off-list and I'll share it with you.

Best,
Clive

Hi David,

Goldwave will do both conversions and is quite straight forward.
