[BCAB] converting kindle books

Hi,

Well, yes and no. As blind people, we have legal rights to make accessible copies of works we own. If I've bought a textbook on Kindle but can't get at the equations because of the Braille support on iOS, then legally I'm entitled to fix that. It's against Amazon's rules, but not the law in the UK, as long as I don't then pass that on to other people who haven't paid.

S.

At the risk of treading on mod’s toes, discussion of this sort of activity is not advisable on a public list. It is essentially discussing copyright theft.
