[BCAB] a new sky remote

Hi Steve,

I think that the app is certainly not as easy to use as the Sky+ App. To me,
at times, it is a very hit and miss affair to get hold of the TV listing.

Regards, John.

Wow John, we have Sky Q and I live it, it's worth every penny. And yes, I
am totally blind.

The accessible remote helps you with program playing as does the app. It is
by no means perfect, but I certainly wouldn't be quite as negative as you.

All the best

Steve

hi jackie i think it's just sky which i will not go with because of lack of
access. as you will have seen i am in leeds very shortly to have a blind
look around. now is your telly a 40 inch one i think it must be. again i
could go on about this but for a totally blind person this tv aspect with
regards to access is very very poor indeed. nothing seems to be actually
done by the powers that be that should be doing something about it. for a
lot of people who actually can see a screen it's fine but for the totally
blind person it's rubbish. why should we pay out #700 just for something
with access. for me sky at #75 per month is just not viable at all. i have
just played chess or should i say attended the chess agm this weekend in
derby and this hotel the hallmark have changed their prices. for a pint of
beer it's five pound twenty and just for a little sandwich at lunch time it
was twelve pounds thirty. so i walked down to the real ale pub for lunch. to
me their's ripping off and ripping off. but let's see how i go this morning.

it's outrageous that they don't offer proper accessibility. But then that's
an old chestnut about companies making their TV equipment accessible, isn't
it?
