I think you are misunderstanding how it works.

AD is a category, so yes, you have to select it every time.  It is not a

Once you select Audio Description from the categories list, and programme
you play will be described.

Yes, it only works on demand currently.

Hi List.

It looks like we have to select AD each and every time, I.e. it doesn't
stick and carry over to new programmes and or sessions using the app. Is
this right?

Also, I can only get it to work with On Demand programmes. If I select AD
and then try to play a live broadcast that I know is carrying AD, the AD
isn't present.

Finally, I can't see how to cast from the Hub. I do have a Chromecast unit
set up and otherwise working.

Any helpful tips gratefully received.
