[BCAB] APPLE PAY

You can now even use ApplePay in many apps as well, such as Uber, JustEat, Deliveru, and quite a few sites online when shopping via Safari on iOS. This actually saves inputting card info, delivery info & Verified by Visa info for example. Quick & painless, Touch ID/FaceID security & ideal for shopping away from home/work & on the go.
If you use a Mac, you can authorise ApplePay with an Apple Watch.
Google Pay works similarly, but a bit less available on transaction on web browsers or PC/Mac purchases. Google Pay also has the regular habit of blocking cards following 3 failed attempts, which is good or bad depending on context & situation.
All & all, the fact that I don’t need to expose myself to security risks by carrying a wallet in busy & unfamiliar places (both do loyalty cards as well from Tesco, John Lewis etc) plus the ability to use even cards for multiple countries & currencies (I use US, UK & Holland cards on mine) with fingerprint, face, PIN as security really make these as now my preferred mode of payment everywhere.
I disagree about multiple cards being a hassle. You press the home or power button (X, XS, XR) twice from the lock screen, to invoke the default card. Double tap the card to bring up all other cards, and double tap on the card of your choice to select it, before proceeding to pay in the usual way. I generally select my card beforehand when queuing to pay. Google Pay even works with Ok Google to choose your card. Even on the spot payments take an extra 30sec or so with practice.
I have to say that my AppleWatch isn’t doing payments at all now following the recent OS update. I’ve added the cards & they appear as ready for use. Any ideas?
TIA
Muzz
