Hi Roger

You can either turn it off or have it spoken, but not beeping.  To change
the settings, press alt t to get into tools, arrow down to verbosity and hit
enter, press c once or twice for 'Confidence level', tab once then arrow
down to 'off', then tab a few times to 'Ok'.  If you want this to be saved
for every time you open Kerzweil, you'll have to save the setting.  Let me
know if you need help with that.

Using K1k as per the subject line and while scanning long documents from pdf
to save and edit K1k keeps telling me that the page has been scanned and the
quality. This gets tricky when reading a 300 page file for example
especially when trying to listen to the radio or give my full attention to
something else.
Ctrl can shut it up momentarily but then it goes back to informing me of its
