[BCAB] Converting files to BRF format

Hi Claire,

BrailleBlaster uses the liblouis Braille tables. It doesn't have the same standard as Duxbury. It can be a bit buggy as it is essentially a shell programme based on the liblouis but it's free and was designed to help folks translate files to .brf to read on the Orbit. It only translates to uncontracted and UEB.

Duxbury is now available for mac.

Best regards, Paul

Hi Paul, I do have Duxbury for Windows, and no braille software at all for the mac, I can't find anything suitable, and I haven't ever used BrailleBlaster, have you tried it on the mac, and if so, does it work well? Also, what is the difference, apart from the obvious price difference, between BrailleBlaster and Duxbury?

I have tried to use Duxbury but the only closest option I can find is LBF format, there's no option to save as BRF, can anyone help please?
