Hello George and Steve,

I am currently on release 1803.
I guess it wants me to update to 1809.
?
So, the question now is do I update to this or wait until the April update

The following was published by Microsoft only this month. The 6th March to
be precise.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/whats-new/whats-new-windows-10-vers
ion-1809

To find out what version you currently have, right click on Start, and
select "System", and go down to "Windows Specifications" where it will
display a version number.

Be aware that this will not install on some not so old hardware, so don't be
surprised if you find you are on Version 1803, and Check for Updates says
there are no upgrades. This is due to a security requirement within the
hardware itself.

I had to replace an otherwise good working HP Pro 3400 Series MT for this
very reason.

Hi John,

I thought that comes out in April. Is it out now?

All the best

Steve

Hello list,

I recall that a while ago there was a new release of Windows 10 which needed
to be rolled out and for data to be recovered.

Is it safe to install the latest release of windows 10 while running NVDA?

Regards John
