Hi,

If you upgrade a Windows 7 machine with an existing licence, and you have
access tech on it, it will generally upgrade for free.

i didn't think it was free any more, i thought it was £100. if the free
version of windows 10 is still available, where can we get it from?

It probably won't be completely painless if you attempt it yourself.
I'd suggest taking it to a local shop or using one of the people on this
list who perform computer repairs / upgrades for blind people.
The upgrade its self is still actually free so anything you'd be paying
would be covering the persons time.
