Can I just gently urge everybody experiencing any kind of accessibility issue under iOS 13.1.2 to write to Apple accessibility about it. I have had a lot of contact with them over the last 12 months, and I think, not because of anything I’ve done, but just from becoming more aware of the frustrations voice-over users can have when things are not working as intended They may well have stepped up their attention in this area.
Under iOS 13, I have found on my iPhone 8 when creating emails, that it is not possible to review the message using line by line on the rotor; I have reported this to them, and they have acknowledged they are aware of it and are looking into it. They say they have had a lot of very helpful feedback from VO users, okay I’m not really sure what that might mean, but I do feel sure that if all of us, rather than just report bugs on lists such as this, we go that step further, and let Apple know about it then the better the chances of a resolution.
The main problem that I have been in discussion with them over the last 12 months was an issue involving apples MFI (made for iPhone) Bluetooth streaming hearing aid compatibility. For quite some time, they were saying I was the only one that seemed to be experiencing the problem as nobody else had written to them about it. I raised this on the deaf blind email forum, and suddenly found several people were experiencing similar issues; having encourage some of them to write to Apple accessibility, Apple have now pretty much corrected the problem in iOS 13.
I know many of us probably think Apple attends two issues experienced by their sighted customers first, but that’s not a good enough reason for us not to continually and politely nudge away, because they do care about us as part of their customer group.

I was few times just double checking the folder to be sure I am at the right email account and this is a fact, sometimes emails are mixed together and displayed wrong.

I turned off the haptics in VoiceOver and also the slide keyboard as I have no idea how it is supposed to work, but other than that its business as usual for me.

Here, you can choose whether you want the slide keyboard which I think is the default when you upgrade to iOS 13, or Touch Typing etc. I must say that there are one or two things I don't like with this upgrade but that's just my view.

I discovered while trying to fill in the first and last names field, that the behaviour of the keyboard has changed. As I moved my finger on the screen to locate the desired letter, VoiceOver started offering me words rather than letters. Lifting my finger from the H key, inserted the word Hungry rather than the single letter H.

If anyone's already got this sorted out I'd be very grateful to know how they did it, otherwise, if I find out, I'll pass it on to the list, as it makes life much more difficult when attempting to enter text.
