But it specifically says Freeview channels. What does that mean? It
probably means you'll only get it for channels that are not pay per view.
That's just rubbish.

All the best

Steve

Hello Steve,

It does not make sense that it does not include Sky. Please see the
following from the document:

The Freeview platform is managed by Digital UK Ltd and DTV Services Ltd. The
companies have four common shareholders - BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Arqiva -
and Sky is a shareholder in DTV Services Ltd.

The fact that Sky is a shareholder surely means that it would be to their
advantage to include Sky channels.

Regards John

Hi Simon,

I agree with you completely. Why just Freeview?

All the best

Importance: High

whilst I am not trying to appear too critical of this, I will say that it is
a shame this is yet another thing for just freeview, whilst sky and virgin
media seem to be left to provide no accessible features for us.

Simon

Hi there,

Digital UK has today published a consultation on an Accessible TV Guide that
will work across all Freeview Play TVs by acting as a channel.

The consultation document is available at https://tinyurl.com/DigiUKConDoc
It's a pdf and although I haven't tried the accessibility I'm about to be
out of contact for a bit and want to make sure people get the chance to
respond.

Thanks,

John
