I'm not seeing that here and I am on the latest mainline build (77 I think).

Subject: [BCAB] closing chrome tabs, changed behaviour
I've noticed over the last couple of weeks or so that when using Chrome on windows 10, if I used ctrl +f4 to close a tab it closes the entire Chrome window not just the tab with focus. Ctrl -w does still close the focused tab though.
It's very annoying as I'm still in the habit of automatically hitting ctrl
+f4. Has anyone else noticed it and/or can suggest a way around it.
I'm on chrome version 77.0.3865.120
