[BCAB] Run JAWS from a Flash Drive

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for that. It does kind of defeat the object. I'll still give it a try
and see how it goes.

I'll also look a NVDA as it isn't too bad with braille and would work for
what I need to accomplish.

All the best, Paul

Hi,

It used to be possible but was a bit of a gimmick if I'm honest as the
intercept driver would need to be installed on the target system which kind
of defeated the point. I don't know whether the installers exist for this
still now.

NVDA on a flash drive is a much better proposition, or System Access but
don't know if that does Braille.

Andrew.

Subject: [BCAB] Run JAWS from a Flash Drive

Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to run JAWS from a removeable Flash
Drive on a computer. The reason I ask is I need to, at times, access Window
machines that aren't mine but I need to have a copy of JAWS with my
preferences and braille display setting already setup for quick access. I'd
then connect the braille display via USB. Is this possible?

All the best, Paul
