Hi,

Yeah know what you mean on that, always finding restaurants that are long since closed. Will take a look.

Andrew.

Hi Andrew,

I would say it is just as good, if not better. The triangulation is
certainly better, and BlindSquare uses community driven data, which is often
inaccurate round here. They use the data from FourSquare Swarm, which is
questionable.

All the best

Steve

Hi,

How would you compare it to BlindSquare if you've used that at all?

Thanks.
Andrew.

Hi Andrew,

Actually Lazarillo does both. It has its own navigation modes, or you can
use alternative apps, such as Waze or Google Maps. So in fact, you can take
your pick. It's about the best specialised GPS app out there for the blind
I'd say on Android.

All the best

Steve

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has used navigation apps on Android extensively. I
use BlindSquare most weeks around London and use the clock face mode to
navigate. Does anything similar exist on Android? I know about Lazerillo
(spell) but believe it puts you in another app to do the navigation.

Thanks.
Andrew.
